Finding the Perfect Gift

Time- the most important thing you can do to ensure you find the perfect gift is to start early.

• Set calendar reminders on your phone so it doesn’t sneak up on you.
• Start paying attention when you are with or talking to giftee. They may drop hints or you may notice something they need or could use.

Consider the gift recipient- remember, it’s about them, not you.

• Consider their hobbies, special interests- sports, crafting, cooking, etc.
•  Upcoming life events they have going on- vacation, moving, marriage, baby, etc
• Do they have a wishlist? If so, use it! They are telling you exactly what they want- it can’t get any easier than that.

Shipping- back to #1, TIME

• If shopping online- make sure you allow enough time for gift to be shipped to you.
• And enough time for you to mail the gift to the recipient if applicable.

Make it special

• Include a handwritten note or card to make it more personal
• Gift wrap- who doesn’t enjoy unwrapping a gift?!
